Fess Up Friday ~ Addicted to Small Containers
In the 17 years I’ve been out on my own after I graduated from high school I’ve noticed a common tool in the way I organize my closets, cabinets, & kitchen pantry. I obviously have an obsession with small containers. This obsession though is very helpful in organizing I must say, and here’s why:
Pantry
The Granola Bar Variety
I buy things when they’re on sale and with a coupon so my pantry has packed. In order to keep it organized as well as create easy access the small containers & drawer units are very helpful as you see here. By taking the granola bars out of the boxes I create a “grab-n-go” option for us when we don’t have time for a sit down breakfast. These are all kid friendly so even the little ones can help themselves.
Bathroom Closet
Meds & First Aid
I also found that my obsession continued in the bathroom closet. When the kids were little I kept all the medicine in our master bath up on a shelf and I stumbled upon these stackable drawers, but instead of stacking them I stuck even more small containers on the top.
Bathroom Drawers
Small Container Mania
Yes I even found small containers in my bathroom drawers. I hate messy drawers, but I will confess I do have junk drawers around the house as well. This is my top drawer to attempt to beautify myself on the left.
If I’m looking or an odd shaped container I also use Longaberger’s protectors that they sell for their baskets. Those come in all shapes and sizes and some are perfect for organizing the inside of drawers.
Unfortunately there are many more places in my house where you will find small containers, but this is enough to admit I have a problem. Yep that does it!! I need to go to a CA (containers anonymous) meeting. Does anyone know where one is?
If there’s something that helps you organize please share it with me. I love new ideas!!

Are you for hire to organize all of my closets, drawers, kitchen cabnets, etc?
Has the obsession rubbed off on the kids? Do they ask for a container to organize their dinosaurs?
Believe it or not it has rubbed off on the boys a little. We organize their toys in containers too. We have a car/truck drawer, playing cards container, farming drawer, and the list goes on. Oh no!! I’m infecting them too!! AH!! This is worse than I thought!!
Cutest blog! I love it
Thanks for stopping by mine!
I am going to learn from your ideas. You have a lot of wisdom!
