From May 1st to 3rd this CityChicOnAFarm attended the 3rd Annual Successful & Outstanding Bloggers – Biz School for Bloggers Conference (SOBCon) in Chicago, IL.  As you read in my previous post I was totally excited to go and learn whatever they had to offer.  I truly didn’t know what to expect or if it was going to be worth my time or money.

This CityChicOnAFarm was totally intimidated at first and thought “I soooo don’t belong here,” but after it got started and I started meeting many of the other attendees I realized I definitely needed to be there.  I was totally blown away by the oh-so-intelligent people including but not limited to the organizers (Liz Straus & Terry Starbucker), the speakers, and the attendees.

The one aspect of the conference that was so touching to me is that it was such a supportive atmosphere, and they made you feel like a part of the family.  This CityChicOnAFarm struggles with networking, but I think I did a good job.  As the conference progressed it got easier and easier, but I still have some work to do.

For anyone who has started a blog or would like to get into blogging please take the time to attend the SOBCon next year.  This Mommy Blogger will post the information for SOBCon ‘10 when information is available.   It’s worth every penny!
